Becoming Admin:
- Players who want to use admin commands on a multi-player ARK server have to enter an admin password first to authorize them, which is set in the server configs. Only multi-player servers require this, in single player games you are automatically an admin, and you don't have to 'turn on' admin access.
- Copy your administrator password on the Game server page. Press Tab in game Start ARK, login to your server, press Tab and execute the command: EnableCheats YOURADMINPASSWORD (replace YOURADMINPASSWORD with yours).
- Admin commands, also known as console commands, are not strictly Ark cheats, but they do change the game to allow you access to things you wouldn’t usually have. You can boost your experience.
- Start or restart your server, join the server then type in the Command Line, 'cheat listplayers' without the quotes. When you see your name in the Command line this confirms you are an admin. SteamIDs for all connected players can be listed in-game via the cheat ListPlayers command.
- Click the Game Services button, you will see this to the left of the control panel. If you have multiple game servers, now select the game server you want to do this on Stop the server Click Configuration Files. Click the Configuration Editor button next to the AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt file Click on the 'New Admin' button.
To use Ark commands you need to open the Ark command console. You can do this by pressing the Tab key on PC. On the Xbox, enter the pause screen and press the LB RB X and Y keys at the same time. On PlayStation, enter the pause screen, and press the L1 R1 Square and Triangle keys at the same time. Cheat Walk: Deactives flying and allows you to walk again. Cheat Teleport: You are teleported in the way that you are facing. Cheat slomo 5: Changes the speed on the server such as player movement, use slomo 1 to revert to normal speed. Cheat playersonly: Freezes all dinosaurs at their current location and freezes crafting. Cheat Ghost: noclip.
The following steps are necessary to elevate a player's privileges to administrator in-game on an ARK: Survival Evolved Game server:

- The admin password can be viewed and altered in the
'Settings>General'section of the Gameserver's Web interface followed by a server restart to take effect:
- NOTE: Using profanity as an admin password will trigger Microsoft's profanity filter, and prevent your server from showing up on the server list!

- Open the start menu (Options)
- Open the admin login field by pressing
'X + Y + LB + RB' - Enter ONLY YOUR PASSWORD as shown on the web interface of your server and press 'Request Admin'
You can test the commands by going back to the admin bar, and entering the command 'cheat fly' if your character is able to fly, then admin commands function. Revert this command with 'cheat walk'.
